Liberman.

Joe Lieberman comes out for McCain. What is a good Freeper to do when a Dem agrees with them?
Jet Jaguar (Who would the terrorists vote for?) tries to reassure a rather irate toddlintown (On Obama's moral compass, "N" doesn't stand for "North.")

No difference between Lieberman and a RINO, and yet everytime his name's brought up on FR, it's like he's a messiah.

Now I have to hear the "Draft Condi" people too. I could puke.

Are there any real conservatives left on FR?

One here.

Well, that's a load off toddlintown's mind.
j_k_l tries to split the difference, and reveals that he knows how to have a good time:
Lieberman seems like a good guy that I would love to have a beer with. That being said, I find his big government politics dangerous and I do not want him in power.

kevinm13 (The Main Stream Media is dead! Fox News Channel, FreeRepublic and pookie18 Rocks!) would like to point out that Zell Miller is also cool.

Lieberman is right that the Democrat party has been hijacked by the far left (I put a lot of this on George Soros and his heavily funded moveon.org and the various groups he has set up to fund left wing campaign ads). He and Zell Miller are similar in that they believe in America first and party second. Most of the rest of the Dims believe in whatever it takes to make the party first at the expense of the country.

Big government sucks.

Hmmm, if it's changed so much, how come Freepers hit them with the whole "party of segregation" bit?
Jim Noble (I've got a home in Glory Land that outshines the sun) has the right focus:
Lieberman's STILL a big government socialist, even though he has the right point of view on US sovereignty.

Even though?

That's the only issue that matters.

If our people decide to pursue socialism, because they believe it's in their best interest, they can change their minds later.

If they allow the country to cease to exist, they can't change that later.

Because them Muslims are at the gates, and America may soon be taken over! EVERYBODY PANIC AND VOTE FOR LIEBERMAN!
