Gifford's shooter is clearly a plant

Freepers do the usual song and dance about the AZ shooting. "It was the liberals!" "He wasn't Conservative" "He's a plant by the Vast Left Wing Conspiracy!" "The media is victimizing us!" (In other words "we didn't do it. Nobody saw us do it. You can't prove anything!"

They're pretty pissed, since outraged deinals are all you can find on the Free Republic front page today.

I'm witholding judgement before I blame the Tea Party, as oftentimes crazy is as crazy does.

Speaking of crazy, here are some of my favorite posts in this frenzy of denial:

April Lexington would like to use No True Scottsman over and over till every assasin ever is a lefty:

Interesting how it takes a British newspaper to expose the psychotic Left.

The philosophy of the Left designs and creates people who hate structure and authority and culture and religion.

They create the ultimate in self centered people.

Look at those who kill public figures... Hinckley who shot Reagan, the goof that shot John Lennon, Sirhan Sirhan who shot RFK, the crazy gals who attempted to take President Ford out, the guy who shot MLK, JR, Lee Harvey Oswald,...

ALL of these people were self centered nuts with crazy personal agendas. None were GOP. None were evangelical Christians. None were right wingers and only Oswald seemed to even be political.

These are nuts and the LEft, by dismantling the schools, religion, tradition and conservative culture create these mad souls.

They kill Democrats and Republicans alike but they are created by the policies and philosophies of the Left. Show me a conservative assassin.... just one... There aren't any because conservatives don't drift off into delusion...

comps4spice has a spot-on commentary on the above screed, but didn't realize it, as he had the politics reversed.

The scariest part is that liberals have a paradigm wherein bad things cannot ever be perpetrated by liberals.

In the sick minds of liberals, evil is only committed by conservatives. So when an event like the one in Tucson comes down the pike, the first thought and the only thought from liberals is that this is an act of an evil conservative.

All evidence to the contrary (as exists with the Tucson nut job) will be totally ignored. It simply doesn’t fit their world-view.

And the truly dangerous thing is that liberals will eventually create scenarios wherein to be conservative in and of itself will be a crime. They will not hesitate to imprison those who simply disagree with them.

Rome2000 is pissed the Congress took some time off after one of their own was shot:

You don’t play decent with communists engaged in a psychological war against the Republican party and the capitalist system.
Now the marxists can lie all week without even having to take time out to vote.
Wonder what “steps” Cantor is talking about, creating a new federal protective service to taser any constituent who looks cross eyed at one of their betters in Congress?

traditional1 goes in for the "liberal plant" idea hard.
Probably a staffer from the DNC, which had already prepared the talking points for the State Run Media to blame the attack on Sarah Palin and the Tea Party.
Sounds an awful lot like this may have been planned with a dupe to implement their efforts to undermine a Palin Presidential bid (the ONLY oppostion candidate they fear is Sarah)

Yardstick hopes someone who tweeded the shooter was liberal in High School is going to be targeted by liberals:
Would be ironic if Parker received threatening tweets from angry liberals.

Quix has a prayer:

Giffords-Reichstag-is-gonna-need-its-own-ping-list ping.

PLEASE, IN TERMS OF ALL KEY PLAYERS WITH SUCH DEVILISH MENTALITIES, MOTIVES AND GOALS,

PLEASE CONVERT THEM WITH FULL CONFESSION, REPENTANCE AND A REDEEMED AUTHENTIC RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU BY YOUR SPIRIT

OR MOVE THEM TOTALLY OUT OF PUBLIC LIFE;

OR TOTALLY OUT OF THIS SPHERE OF EXISTENCE;

OR HOWEVER ELSE YOU WOULD CHOOSE TO 100% NEUTRALIZE THEIR DESTRUCTIVENESS.

IN JESUS’ NAME, AMEN.

AMEN Indeed!

  1. Apparently April Lexington has never heard of Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols?

    Personally, I play neither for the Red or the Blue team and I find all this finger wagging rather distasteful and well below the level of discourse this country is capable of.
