Hate > Love

Reagan's 100th birthday! Huzzah! Freepers can talk all they want about their favorite dude! A perfect time to...bash on Obama?

PA-RIVER loves Reagan so much it makes him want to punch Obama in the face!

The best president in my lifetime.
I asked someone why he was so loved, and they told me this:

"He was like a loving Grandfather, and you knew he loved you and wanted the best for you. There was no doubt he was on your side. He became a part of the family."

The guy in the office now is like an uninvited guest who refuses to leave, and is making a mess and insulting you. And you know he's trying to find the silverware, check book, or your wallet. You just want to grab him by the collar , drag him out, and “talk” to him in the yard for a minute before the police come and save his ass. A real scuzbag.
Popman disagrees - he wants to punch Obama for completely different reasons:

He's more like the new guy your ultra moonbat liberal niece brings to the family event who looks down his nose at everybody, believes without a doubt he is the most intelligent smartest, brilliant guy in the room and everybody else are a step above moron and he has no problem being a condescending asshat

He also freely lets everybody know their opinion do not matter and he is the final authority on any opinion.

Turns his nose up at any thing below his self evaluated self esteem

Basically, at the end of the night every male in the house would love to give him the bums rush out the door by the seat of his pants and soundly kick him to the curb.

Obama - grifter or douchebag? The important thing is everyone wants to punch him.

Bearshouse laments that it isn't 1980 anymore - we've lost so much!

No shame in saying I wept openly while listening to this speech. For the beauty of his vision and for what we have lost.
EBH:

They talk about 0bama’s oratory skill...

he can’t compare to Reagan. And that difference is Reagan was able to inspire the vast majority of Americans.

0bama doesn’t.

See, how Obama doesn't inspire any Freepers, unlike how Reagan inspired everyone. Well, at least the real Americans. Also note the lack of capitalization of Obama's name. Buuurn!

jcwky thinks it's time to get our hands dirty and pray:
It’s painful to think that in 22 years, we have gone from this man and nation of “greatness” to an empty, shallow society and a President that’s only claim to fame are hollow cliche’s like “Hope and Change” and “Win the Future”.

How about getting our hands dirty with the hard work of Freedom - get down on our knees, ask God to forgive us and purge our national government of those who see America’s liberty more as a threat than the “bright beacon” Ronald Reagan referred to.

The election of 2012 is the time to call back to service “Reagan’s Regiments” - let the tsunami of real political change be felt across this once great land again.

May God forgive us for not being “good stewards” of the freedom for whom so many paid for with their lives.
If praying gets your hands dirty, it's a pretty good bet you've lost your house to Obamacare.

bigredkitty1 exhorts onward Reagan soldiers!
Watch those tapes. Let them remind you what a president should be. Let them summon your courage and strengthen your resolve,so that you are ready for the battle to take back the presidency from the Marxists in 2012. All America-loving patriots are going to be needed for the coming fight. Those tapes are just going to remind you for what you and everyone else will be fighting: Reagan’s vision of America.
This, then is the end result of a partisan cult of personality. Freepers can get up some praise for Palin these days, but Reagan is invoked only as a rallying point against the enemy, devoid of all personality beyond that needed to weild him.

  1. Obama Derangement Syndrome is going in full force over in Freeperville and it seems to be in direct proportion to how god-like Reagan becomes in hindsight. I can't even imagine how insane the rhetoric is going to get when Obama wins a second term.
