Medal of Honor Winner asks for Beer with Obama.

Freepers are not too happy that this Marine Congressional Medal of Honor winner asked, and got, a beer with Obama. Their over-the-top hatred of Obama came up against their over-the-top love of the military. It was no contest.

EN1 Sailor hates Obama more than he respects military heroism:
I am extremely proud of all of our brave young men and women in the military, but somehow, having obummer award this to a fine, heroic young man just seems to cheapen it somehow.
Godebert hates this marine now:
It was the Marine that asked to have a beer with little Barry. Disgraceful.
La Enchiladita doesn't get why someone like this doesn't hate Obama:

I don’t get that at all. Not one bit. Sad.

La Enchiladita decides to just pretend Obama asked for it. Well, I assume he's talking about Obama.

I dislike the beer photo op. It is Ubama trivializing the heroic deeds and sterling character of the Marine hero, SGT Meyers. Ubama must bring others he cannot comprehend or respect down to his level. I am tired of it. The President should only be seen having the most dignified interaction with this Great American.

Retain Mike thinks Obama is somehow adding extra Medal of Honor winners so he can hang out with them:

The war in Iraq began in 1991, resumed in 2003, and then turned into a counterinsurgency war. The war in Afghanistan began in 2001 and continues. However, only since Obama to office in 2009 have living recipients received the Medal of Honor. Does anyone else wonder why?

Vinnie just decides to forget this conflict and be racist.

Michelle.
“All that ceremony for killing 36 guys.”

“Heck I’ve got friends in the hood killed more than that.”

  1. Come on this is crap, everyone knows Obama just loves the military, that's why he had 3 wars going at once during his presidency instead of Bush who just had 2.....

  2. Sweet nonsequitor, dude. The best part is where you attack Obama from the left.

  3. It is a sequitor, the "non" part is the complete absence of the professional left's protests clogging everything up. Yep, Obama had 3 wars going and barely a peep out of the left.... I sure miss Cindy Sheehan crying & balling and the the other things like the great marches and the chants: "Bring our boys home Obama" "No blood for Oil Obama!" Such a difference political alignment makes when it comes to being outraged by war, don't you think??

  4. So you have discovered liberal partisans are hypocrites. Amaaazing! And so uncommon among political partisans throughout history!

And it has so much to do with Freepers being crazy about vaccines!

  5. Thanks for having the courage to admit that liberal partisans are hypocrites, where does the depth of their hypocrisy end?? All the way to the White House I am sure......

  6. Obama? No doubt - just like all politicians. Anyone who actually says what he means gets weeded out in the electoral process long before he even touches tha national stage. You think Palin or Perry is super sincere all the time?

Smugly noting that political folks on one side are inconsistent smacks of a pretty impressive sample bias.

This is not to say partisans of both sides are identical, but in this aspect, no shit sherlock.
