Schedenfest 2011: Unoins take over Ohio.

Schadenfreudeapalooza is nowhere near over. Seems Ohio voters, by about 2:1, still like public unions. Freepers know this is cause of thugs and also America is over:

Dubya-M-DeesWent2SyriaStupid! goes through all the Freeper stages of grief:

So did they make educated votes or vote because they are union and had too and don’t contribute they’re union loyality to racial wars incited by Obama of black people pulling white people out of they’re cars and beating the crap out of them?Or they just want to be like Ca.? and very broke?

Or they misunderstood how to vote?

Or Obama SEIU and Hoffa cheated?

Or they believed that firefighters and teachers would lose jobs and no safety would entail and all puppies and kittens would be killed?

hate, racism, despair, cheating, bitterness.

JPG sees some kind of Greek tragedy coming:
A Pyrrhic victory for the OH rats and their unions. Their laughter and celebrations will soon turn to sadness and tears.
nutmeg knows the union thugs are all violent from their hand gestures:
This landslide victory will embolden the union thugs BIG TIME.

MSLSD's Ed Schultz is currently holding an on-camera celebration in Columbus, OH, surrounded by partying thugs holding union-printed signs of militant fists in the air. Disgusting.

WHERE are all the conservative voters in Ohio? :-(
Catsrus thinks voters were fooled by tricksy thuggery:
I think Ohioans are dumber than rocks when it comes to how to vote on these issues. They probably thought a NO vote meant no, it wouldn’t be repealed. The thugs saw to it that the voters were confused.
MtnClimber wants a poor pay more tax rate:

I would then implement a Christmas tree tax system to pay for this. Low earners who may need services at a higher rate pay proportionately more. Empowered workers won’t need as many services so they should pay less.

Empowered workers?

a fool in paradise has some kind of rape-based theory:

Obama is pro-Occupy Protest. Occupy Protesters are pro-Rape. Biden scares voters into thinking this administration would support their pro-Rape position if voters reject socialist programs. Taxpayers will be plundered anyway.

crusader71 thinks a return to Jim Crow would solve this problem:

“Tom Tancredo may have been right after all about the need for a civics literacy test for voters.”

And a poll tax wouldn’t hurt either.

FlipWilson thinks Freepers should now all leave Ohio.
Now you get to explore some red state in the U.S. where all the jobs from Ohio will be going. There sure are some nice states out there.
concerned about politics is only working cause he likes it:
Already, it's more lucrative not to work. Those who don't are well rewarded. Those who do are punished. It can't go on forever.
sand88 is not a fan of Public unions.
They deserve all the pain they will face. There should be a Constitutional Amendment banning public unions.

Public unions are filled with lazy, parasitic, sadistic humans. Public Union members feel no guilt knowing that they are screwing their fellow hard working citizens who just happen to pay their salaries and pensions.

Legal Plunder is widespread at ALL levels of government. Sometimes I think a worldwide total economic collapse will be the only way to get the parasite class off our backs.
Yeah, those lazy parasitic and sadistic firemen will get theirs!

  1. Keep Gloating,
Public Unions got their asses handed to them in NJ and Wisconsin. VA State Senate race was a clean sweep for the GOP. Ohio voters rejected ObamaCare. Typical Dem, look at the half-full cup and declare victory.
As far as Ohio goes, if the Buckeye dumbasses like their unions so much, they can pay their bloated salaries and pensions. Just let them not come whining to Uncle Fed for a bailout when their state goes bankrupt.

  2. Everyone seems to agree that the referenda and amendments went will for the Dems, except for Issue 2 in Ohio.

The elections went well for Republicans, though.

I'd say that the issues were GOP overreach, and agree that the strong GOP showing in the elections bodes ill for 2012.

As for Ohio, this anti-union thing is not budgetary it is political. Ending public employee unions to fix a budget gap is unneeded drastic surgery, as unions across the country seem quite willing to renegotiate pensions.

Additionally, one many of the budget gaps are correlated with recent tax cuts Republican governors have made.

  3. @Anonymous,
Thank you, we will keep gloating. Just goes to show what the public really thinks of Republican overreach. The Schadenfreude is so delicious.

On which planet? Unions in CA,MA and NY have proven to be inflexible and want their gold plated salaries and pensions, even while taxpayers are suffering. No more public sector Unions, if they gubmint workers do not like working without Unions, they are free to resign.

Additionally, one many of the budget gaps are correlated with recent tax cuts Republican governors have made.

In a recession tax-cuts to Joe and Jane Middle Class in one of the ways to spur consumer spending. Raising taxes to pay union hogs, is not a good idea especially when Middle America is hurting.

  5. @euphidiot,

I don't even know why I bother replying to a Commie idiot like you. Republican overreach eh? Is that why VA Senate races were swept by the GOP? Wisconsin and NJ had no problem with the Republican "overreach" at all.

And the same Ohio voted down Comrade Obama's ObamaCare. Choke on that.

Like I said, Dem morons will Gloat even at a 50% victory, and ignore the other 50% that did not go their way,Typical

  6. Yeah...Reaganomics never worked. Lowering taxes doesn't increased revenue except for in theory.

You're cherry picking re: unions. I take you at your word that CA, MA and NY unions have been stubborn, but the states that are trying to strip public union bargaining rights (OH, WI, ME, MI) seem quite willing to deal, rendering the stripping unneeded.

And calling Teachers, Policemen and Firemen union hogs seems a bit much.

Finally, if I gloat, it's not about Dem successes, it's about how pissed off Freepers get.

  7. How is it that those who come to disagree never address the fun parts? For example,

"So did they make educated votes or vote because they are union and had too and don’t contribute they’re union loyality to racial wars incited by Obama of black people pulling white people out of they’re cars and beating the crap out of them?"

  8. @Anonymous,
Wisconsin did have a problem with Republican overreach, they recalled 2 Republican state senators earlier this year, did you forget? Walker is not very popular in Wisconsin and neither is Kasich in Ohio.

Yes, Ohio voted for issue 3. Here's the language it used. Nowhere did it say "Obamacare" or specifically target the Affordable Health Care Act. It was largely ignored by the media in Ohio and probably won't have much (if any) effect on Obamacare. Nor will the majority of Ohioans care because we're not all Freepers.

  9. I love the idea of union members and taxpayers being mutually exclusive. Is that a new meme?
