Freepers vs. Bronies

Freepers, being both old and eagerly judgmental, have a problem wrapping their heads around bronies. Shockingly, it's a Democrat Conspiracy!

Hardraade makes a correlation:
Far as I know, most if not all the pony fans are also Obama fans.

The dems seem to have a thing for ponies. And skittles.
GeronL laments how unprepared for the apocalypse today's kids are:
Crazy is okay these days I guess.

Imagine these people after the SHTF. These people will probably be the first to go I bet.
POWERSBOOTHEFAN allows quirky hobbies, so long as they're gender appropriate:
It’s OK if you’re a girl or a woman ‘cause it’s a girl thing,as long as you don’t go crazy. I like Barbie dolls, especially the ones in the fancy dresses that are released for the holidays.

As far as the guys are concerned,no.
a fool in paradise remembers adorable pop-culture conspiracies from days of old:
And the Clinton Administration did their part to keep the price of Beanie Babies inflated. They prohibited travelers from Asia from bringing more than 2 of any doll into the country.

That was what Clinton treated as a “national security” issue. For Obama, it is bootleg recordings of music, video, and porn.
pops88 watched the show, and saw the sublims!!
My daughter in college told me about the “My Little Pony” phenomenon and how it was quite the rage with a cult following, and encouraged me to watch it. I don’t think I made it past 5 minutes. Propaganda, brainwashing, social engineering, sublims...sheesh!

  1. OK, Freepers, you do know that you are a tiny little minority group don't you? You are the lunatic fringe which the Republican Party disassociates itself from. I am not casting aspersions, these are the natural facts. Mitt Romney is the Republican nominee. You, Freepers, do not matter to anyone.

So, please, go ahead and go to war with the Bronies. This is your natural place in the world order.

  2. The fact that Freepers hate Bronies makes me even prouder of the fact that I am one.

    Pinkie Pie is best pony!

  3. This isn't something they're quite as uniform as you'd think on. I've seen a number of them praising the show. Of course, they do it in their dickish way, but a fair few of them have quite a high opinion of it. As I recall, one of them called it better than Ducktales. Considering how they view Ducktales as the last non-commie show, thats some compliment.

I think like any group, there are some Freeper bronies, and some Freeper haters.

  4. Just realized MLP is on Netflix. I guess it's time I found out what all the fuss is about.

The White House released a cute video short about BO's birthday. Of course, freepers can't let a sleeping dog lie. It's mostly the same old tired jokes, but a little racism and a few conspiracy theories are thrown into the mix.

    1. OK, I gave it a look. Let me tell you, it's true. When you are pushing 60 and there is cancer in the family, yes, friendship is fucking magic.

  5. The Beanie Baby conspiracy guy may actually be onto something. It's coming out that Kim Dotcom, Mr. Megaupload, may have had ECHELON spying on him on behalf of the MPAA.

  7. OMG, I can't believe you missed this gem of a story that totally happened:

A story from the “Brony” wars. . .

My oldest daughter is in college, and was wearing an anime T-shirt (Neon Genesis: Evangelion, to be exact. . ). An obnoxious “Brony” boy was berating her for her “bad choice” of entertainment.

He then started eating some Skittles. She floored him (and forced him to spit them out. . .) by saying:

“You **KNOW** where Skittles come from, right ?? They’re Unicorn Poop. . .”

And everyone else in earshot was ROFLing. . .
