Oklahoma tornado truthers

Freepers cannot allow anything bad not be liberals' fault. Hence, they posit: "Phone Service In Oklahoma Cut BEFORE Storms."
So an interesting little note here.

But hours before the storms rolled into Oklahoma, most cell phone service across the state, and specifically in Northeast Oklahoma was cut.

No one could make any calls. Texting worked but no calls.

Why would this happen BEFORE the storms?

I know the government has the ability to turn the service off I am sure.

Was this some sort of test to see if they could turn it off.. and during an emergency it was convenient?? So not as many people notice/blamed it on the storms.

In any other time, a pRes_ _ent sabotaging an emergency
would be unthinkable, but today, with this traitor?
The rest of the posts seem to be debunking this, at least. Still, lets see if it comes up next year or something in a list of Obama's sins.

  2. Isn't it because voice transmission on cell phones takes up a lot of bandwidth on cell phone towers, while SMS only takes up a handful of data? Maybe they didn't want people clogging the airwaves with phone calls.
