Freepers vs. a 12-year-old voting rights activist

Commenter Holden Caulfield uncovers this new low.

reveal themselves.

God'sgrrl knows voting rights are hatred:
One of the most important responsibilities for a parent is to never teach a child to hate anyone. At least I thought it was...
BigCinBigD:
And I care what this addle brained brat thinks why?
kaehurowing is sure this is a fascist:
Good little Obamunist, learning early. Probably a member of the Young Pioneers for Action.
I'm surprised only Henry Hnyellar made the connection:
Hitler Youth.
To be fair, ogen hal thinks any liberalism is abuse:
probably rides the “short” bus. The poor kid is obviously abused.
montag813 keeps it classy:
Wow....she already has her bitch face down...at TWELVE!
PghBaldy knows all about this girl, and nothing about pro-life protesters:
She doesn’t seem sweet to me. She seems like a lot of libs I know who are older. I have a problem with people using children in this way - it is a way to get a point across and shut down any conversation, because the left will say we can’t pick on a kid. It is cynical and low.
JerseyDvl saves his hatred for petty screeds about Melissa Harris Perry:
MHP is a rabid racist and Obama lackey with the most terrible lisp you will ever hear from someone on television. Definite affirmative action hire who could only appeal to 12yo children and complete idiots. Anyone who could listen to her spitting into the microphone or watch her spray the camera lens with saliva has got to be either insane or a member of the Obummer regime...but then again, i repeat myself.
Tzimisce thinks voting is deadly:
If I need no ID to vote because it’s my right as an American, why do I need ID to buy a gun??????????????
fieldmarshaldj cites an old hippisploitation B-movie, missing any hint of satire:
“Wild In The Streets” should be required viewing (demonstrating why the 18-under 21 set should never have been enfranchised, save military members). It’s like the “Idiocracy” of its era.

  1. Freepers demonize anyone who disagrees with them, so this is nothing new. But this little girl was also demonized by Governor McCrory, who should know better.

BTW, Ozy, you may want to fix the HTML at the beginning of the post.

    2. Yeah, even if what you said was even remotely true, liberals are still fine examples of decorum compared to Freepers and other RWNJs.

Before you attempt to debate me, you should pull your dick out of your grandfather's ass once in a while and try Googling before you type your weak ass horse shit.

    4. Sounds like Markos has the right idea. Let people who start war for profit suffer the consequences. But I suppose you would rather war be all about picking daffodils and hugging your enemy, right?

And I don't see any rape or murder in any of those pictures.

    6. Handing out pamphlets for the possibility of rape is not the same as a rape. And a suicide is not a murder.

Damn, do you really need me to read and interpret words for you?

    7. "Within or near" does not necessarily mean committed by an OWS member. For all you know, it could have been committed by a conservative. After all, conservatives are the only ones with guns, right?

Damn, you make retarded kids look like geniuses.

  2. Why are you suddenly going on like Obama's approval ratings have done something dramatic? They've been in the same range for months, and every last president, including Reagan, have seen lower approval numbers at some point during their tenures. Reagan hit 35% approva in 1983. Bush was at 19% when he left office.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Why don't you mother fucking bitches pay attention to the real news about Obama's approval ratings,

Because it's not that big of a deal, really, and as far as bombing Syria is concerned, most liberals are glad to see Obama taking some heat for pursuing a stupid policy.

Y'see, generally speaking, liberals are happy to criticize presidents they voted for. Hell, some are happy only when they're criticizing presidents they voted for. It's not like the right, where people will insist that Reagan never raised taxes, or didn't negotiate with terrorists, or whatever, even when confronted with evidence to the contrary.

Why is this, you ask? Because for all their faults -- and they have many -- most liberals aren't shameless authoritarian bootlickers with the emotional maturity and logical skills of a six-year-old, like the average FReeper.

As for "niggers running wild"... I used to think there was no way the GOP base would double-down on its racist bullshit going into 2014. Looks like I was wrong! Here's hoping you keep it up for the duration.

    1. Nor are conservatives - re shameless authoritarian bootlickers.

Don't do what they do. Straw manning and using a broad brush is offensive on both sides. Some freepers are total extremists. Not going to even argue that, because it is true and spotlighted constantly - as it should be.

Some Dems are also extremists. Agreed? Both sides have dicks. We just try to ignore them..

      Let's recap, shall we?

I noted that generally speaking, most liberals aren't authoritarian bootlickers, unlike the average FReeper. And in doing so, I noted that liberals have many problems of their own.

But somehow, all this painstakingly qualified language qualifies amounts to "broad brush," according to you.

      Funny how that works.

Full disclosure: There are indeed extremists on both sides, but you'll find most of the eliminationists -- the people who dream explicitly of exterminating everyone who doesn't think, look and act like them -- on the right. Agreed?

    3. I can't speak for everyone, but so far, I haven't noticed any liberals stockpiling weapons and building Citadels in the hopes that everyone who isn't like them dies outside their walls. Just sayin'. There's crackpots, and then there's crackpots with a capital CRACK.

  6. @Anon 10:21PM

You'll not get much argument from me re average Freepers. 10 years ago, sure, I'd have laid into you and given proof. Even 5 years ago, you had a decent bunch of people with a few kooks. Now - hell, who wants to be associated with them?

All I am saying is don't tar all conservatives with the freeper brush. They are on the fringe and are, to be blunt, no longer relevant. Most of us, you could sit down and have a beer and a good chat with. Not saying we are easily persuadable - we ain't, but we will listen!
I used to like FR. Now, I go there to watch the train wreck in progress. It is sad, horrifying, yet somehow compelling.

  7. All I am saying is don't tar all conservatives with the freeper brush.

Point taken. But please do note again that my comment was not about conservatives, but about FReepers. On a blog about FReepers, on a post that highlights the very problems you're bringing up, in response to a typically idiotic FReeper-like comment.

I don't blame you for being touchy, God knows. It can't be easy to be a reasonable, thoughtful conservative nowadays! And although I reject most conservative philosophy -- at least as an organizing principle for society -- I do think we need more than one semi-functional political party and I absolutely support mainstream conservatives in any efforts to wrest the party back from the lunatic fringe.

Anyway, it sounds like we see eye to eye on FR, and it wouldn't surprise me if we agreed on a fair amount of other stuff, too. I don't think most Americans are as far apart on major issues as the typical FR denizens would like us to think, and I'm sure we could have a nice time discussing all this further over a beer or three!

  8. All that said, I have to add that the whole "both sides do it" argument really doesn't hold water at this point. You have to dig pretty hard to find lefties who are as far out and militant as the FReepers or the Teabaggers. More important, when you do find them, you'll find that they don't have any real influence over the Dem establishment. They're generally not getting massive funding, generally not hosting major radio or TV shows, generally not able to shift opinion in Congress or the media, and so forth. Candidates usually don't cater to them; instead, they distance themselves from them wherever possible.

We might agree that, say, Ward Churchill is an extremist, but you'll see raving eliminationist loons like Coulter or Malkin or Beck on TV 100,000 times before you see Churchill once. And that's true of pretty much any other left-wing "extremist" you can name. Part of it is that the Dems bend over backwards to be centrists; part of it is that mass-media outlets simply don't want to give airtime to left-wing thinkers, let alone agitators; and part of it is that the left really doesn't have a "wingnut welfare" system that churns out motor-mouthed hard-right pundits like McDonald's churns out low-quality burgers.

For there to be a real equivalence, the Dems would need to have Ward Churchill address a Democratic convention. Or host a radio show on 300 stations. Or get lefty politicians to kowtow to him the way the right does to Rush. In the absence of that equivalence, FReepers -- and far too many ordinary conservatives -- like to pretend that people like Ed Schultz and Rachel Maddow are agitating for the Dictatorship of the Proletariat and thus are as bad -- or worse than! -- Beck et al. But I'd like to think that you, at least, understand that they aren't.

    1. In general terms, in America, the right is given a lot more leeway to be crazy than the left.

This is because the left is more associated with the Soviet union and with the enemy in general "enemy" in general. Also no clear thinking corporation would promote an openly anti-capitalist pundit

  10. Let's take this slow. You're a stupid fucking liberal.

Far from liberal. Also far from the complete lunatics on FR, who, like it or not, give conservatives a bad name.

Obama is indeed of Kenyan ancestry. That has never been in question. So calling him a Kenyan implies nothing, just as calling Joe BiteMe an Irishman implies nothing.

True about his ancestry. But he is American, and none of this hyphenated American stuff please. If you are American, you are American. Full stop.

I don't care if you don't like my Alzheimer's reference. It's pretty obvious Harry Reid has some sort of mental impairment. Time for the old liberal bitch to slap on some Depends and retire to the old folks home. With any luck, he'll take John McLame with him.

Agreed on McLame. Hopefully the rumors he is not running again in 16 are true! Asshole has never met a war he didn't like or a liberal policy he couldn't support. Reid's mental problems are more down to having decades of having to twist his mind to try to fit the liberal mindset - so yeah, I did find the Alzheimers crack a cheap shot.

If you don't know who Dennis Kucinich is, there's a small glimmer of hope for you. That means you're not a complete hardcore lib faggot drone.

Seriously - no idea at all who he is. Seen his name referenced a few times, but never bothered to look him up. From what I picked up he'd be really bad for my blood pressure.

  11. OK, you're so you're not a complete fuck-up. You simply don't like FR. Not a crime. What is a crime is the little lib bitches that post here attacking others behind their backs. If they have something to say, why not post it on FR and duke it out like an adult ?

  12. Insta Zot if they tried, and you are as well aware of that as I.

It'd be like you going to DU and trying to have a reasonable discussion. Extremists hate to be challenged - no matter which side they are on. Personally I find the left far more nasty.

There are still people I both like and admire on FR, and keep in touch with on other sites. They just don't post much any more, and that makes me sad. It is a far cry from what it was 10 years ago.

Anyway - hat tip to you. Have a good Sunday!

  13. A duh, because we'd be zotted the instant we tried and our posts wiped out. Freepers, like you, hate opposing points of view.
