Saturday Pix

Hitler tested. Lucifer approved!
This may be the photoship that makes the least sense yet.
Boehner's troubles are far from over...
Things are gonna be pretty exciting for the GOP this year...
Wow...That's...weird looking.
NOT RACIST!

  1. Naw, I'm done blaming it on "the era in which they were raised" and "they don't realize how they come across" ...

Freepers are out and out consciously racist. The occasional borderline comment of the past has become an everyday flood of racial garbage.

    1. I agree with you euphgeek but it goes much deeper than that. There is a "victim" mentality at play. The same mentality that most Freepers laugh at and say does not exist. Freepers are being conditioned by certain posters to believe that there is an active war against white folks. Every article that is posted about a black person doing harm to a white person is used as proof. Unfortunately blacks are hurting blacks and believe it or not lurking Freepers, whites are hurting whites. In the rare time a story like that is posted it is chalked up to being white trash, meth addict, or crazy. I sometimes wonder if FR is some study group on Social Engineering. One day the site will close down and the University of California Berkeley (that will get their goat) will release a study on how perceived racism projected at one homogenous group will cause that group to become racist.

    2. That would be an interesting study. Anyway, I'm sure that you're pretty much spot on in your analysis, I was just saying that's how your average Freeper sees it. They honestly believe that the pervasive racism that has been getting more and more blatant over the years, not just since Obama became president, but since Reagan talked about welfare queens and Nixon adopted the Southern strategy, is merely legitimate criticism of a president they don't agree with. And when someone rightly points out they're being racist, they feel that they are being told their criticism isn't legitimate. That causes them to retreat back into their bubble and listen to the race-baiters like Limbaugh and Coulter who tell them that their criticisms are indeed legitimate and that there's no need to ever go outside the echo chamber. This is what's hurting the Republican party more than anything else. Their arguments have stayed inside the bubble for so long that they have begun to fester. And when they bring those arguments out into the open, like during an election, they wonder why so many people run far away from them and suppose that the person making their arguments just didn't make them strongly enough.

    3. The unwillingness to see other people's point of view has been a severe blow to the Conservative and Tea Party base of the Republican Party. Fiscal conservatism with just a sprinkle of Social liberalism is the winning Republican formula but Freepers and others push the Social Conservatism aspect so hard and yes the press and democrats latch on to that and cause a lot of people to turn away from Republicans. Just my humble opinion.

    4. Heck, even the fiscal conservatism they're pushing is too extreme. People recognize that corporations are not people, too. They know that oil companies that make billions of dollars a year don't need additional billions of dollars in government subsidies. And they recognize that it's a good thing for the government to help out the less fortunate in our society. But yes, the extreme social conservatism pushed by RWNJs like the Freepers is the major turn-off to the electorate.

    5. That's the thing. There's a reason I don't blog about Stormfront or Jihadwatch or whatnot.
The constant rationalization behind sabotaging the grain of truth behind their conservativsm is what keeps me coming back for more.

    6. Aww...what's the matter? Poor little Comedian didn't get his way with the government shutdown so now he has to project his own racism on others? I'll play "My Heart Bleeds for You" on the world's tiniest violin.

  2. Check out the transparency in the Boehner 'shop. You can see right through his shirt.

I also love the totally out of place crazy font in the first pic, as well as the completely topical Jumanji reference.

  3. Here's fun Freeper fighting thread, Oz. A mother faces arrest after bringing her breastfeeding child to jury duty. Lots of Freepers are sympathetic to the mom but not all.

PeteB570: It’s the modern age. They invented Breast pumps a long time ago.

Gay State Conservative: Breastfeeding fanatics.Hundreds of millions of kids in the developed world grew up on the bottle and did just fine.No sympathy for this fanatic.

There's also some hatred of jury duty in the thread.
