The Chris Christie bridge closure scandal

Freepers are actually kinda torn about this story, where NJ mayor Chris Christy's inner circle seems to have orchestrated huge traffic problems in Fort Lee in retaliation for the Democratic mayor not endorsing him for reelection.

On the one hand, Freepers hate Chris Christie for being a RINO. On the other, this is the sort of hardball they wish Republicans would play, and they really want to defend it.

RichardWthinks this is another Obama conspiracy:
Stick a fork in him. He’s done. Wasn’t going to get the nomination anyway but this is something that Obama’s stooges would have cooked up.
Understand the stimulus thinks the NSA is the one that found the e-mails:
this is a TEXTBOOK example of how NSA data can allegedly be used for political weapons...maybe the fat man has learned his lesson
Rome2000 thinks this sort of thing happens all the time:
This fat bastard and his staff are hardly the only sociopaths in elected office, heck, show me a politician that isn't a mental case.

He just got caught and the press wont cover for him.

Of course the neo communist pyschos in the WH and Congress will get a pass all day long, no matter what crimes they commit.
hal ogen worries about Christie's mental health, on accounta his fanboyism:
Christie attended more than 100 Bruce Springstein concerts. Christie cried when Springstein called him a year or so ago. Does this “man” belong in any position or power, responsibility or leadership? I think he belongs on a therapist’s couch for a long, long time.
BushCountry blames the Clintons:
Hillary’s attacked dogs out in force today. Two possible opponents wounded in one day after announcing.
jimbo123 finds the existence of this scandal proof Christie is a liberal:
If Christie was a conservative, he wouldn’t rely on Tony Soprano thug tactics to advance his agenda and this bridge nonsense never would have happened.
I wonder how many Freepers caught sickoflibs' satire:
AHAH, Obviously Christie is a major threat to the left otherwise they wouldn’t be attacking him in this way.

They are obviously terrified of him.

He should resign and write a few books, get a job with FNC and start traveling to Iowa and New Hampshire and make sure the news always knows where he is.

Yes, he should follow the Sarah Palin model for success. That's a sure winner!

    2. Enough to know that following the Sarah Palin model for success never leads to political victory. Sorry to break it to you. Oh, who am I kidding, I'm not sorry.

    4. Thank you for proving my point in admitting that Palin failed. That's the first step towards recovery.

    5. By this standard, no one should ever criticize any national politician ever, since they've accomplished more than most of us on the Internets ever will.

    6. Exactly. I'll criticize Palin all I want and there's not thing one you can do about it.

    7. Why do people admire that screechy ditz anyway? I mean, what's in it for them?

  2. Sarah Palin's strategy has been a massive success - as SP's strategy has been to make herself a mint and fleece her idiot followers for contributions towards something that will never happen. #winning!

    9. You know what doesn't matter? Internet commenters' hobbies.

How about we go back to distracting from Christie's massive fail and Freepers' confused yawping via arguing about Sarah Palin's business model.

    10. Well, if one of your Stepford women don't like what I like, they can pound sand too. I am married, as if it matters to anyone but me. Why, do you think that only single, lonely, and/or emasculated men like MLP?

    11. "2. troll
One who purposely and deliberately (that purpose usually being self-amusement) starts an argument in a manner which attacks others on a forum without in any way listening to the arguments proposed by his or her peers. He will spark of such an argument via the use of ad hominem attacks (i.e. 'you're nothing but a fanboy' is a popular phrase) with no substance or relevence to back them up as well as straw man arguments, which he uses to simply avoid addressing the essence of the issue."

  4. Thank you, anonynony1 for your contributions.

I can imagine this happening, not only in New Jersey, but in all 50 states ... some governor's "aide" taking care of personal grievances as soon as he/she gets a modicum of power.
I'm going to guess that this kind have behavior has been going on for a few thousand years.
