Robin Williams was famous, but I'll admit the huge reaction surprised me. I think the fact that his style was so happy has a great deal to do with the extraordinary reserve of affection for him.
What makes this so interesting is that Freepers are not immune to William's charms. So the grave-dancing you'd see for most non-conservative deaths was kept to a minimum, with Freepers acting mostly like humans.
Except for the few whose partisanship has made them assholes to an inhuman extent.
It is on these Xtreme Freepers that I shall be focusing, though some touching normals also make it in.

It's funny that I read threads on FR now and I think to myself "I wonder if Oz is having as much fun reading this as I'm." This was one of those threads! There's very few people who don't have some adoration for him. His career in the past 15 years has been embarrassing, but even then some great laughs have been from his humor. And being a great person too helps.
