    1. Much obliged.

That we can keep it cordial is how I know we're not Freepers.

Grandma was 95, and got a helluva life. We're doing fine, but she had a lot of effects to go through.

    2. My condolences. I lost both of my maternal grandparents this year. They went within 2 months of each other. And I sympathize with having to go through her effects. We had to do the same thing.

  2. My prayers and best wishes to you and yours too, Ozy.

  3. Sorry for your loss Ozy...even at 95, that still hurts.

  4. Sorry to hear that, Ozzy. Prayers for her, you and yours.

  5. I posted a really nice message of condolence, and the intertubez ate it. I'm sorry. This is a hard time of year to lose a loved one, and it's never easy. I lost my dad's only brother last month, and my friends & co-workers have lost at least four people in the past month. I'm really sorry.

    1. That being said -- did you know that racism didn't exist until communists invented the word?
The term “racism” was invented by communists, and is used to destroy cultures and defuse (and render impotent) those with differing points-of-view on “racial” issues. That being said . . . True “racism” is desirable as it merely cements cultural and social bonds that are necessary for a society to function and flourish. True “racism” does not connote either inferiority or superiority of any racial group, but merely denotes commonality of purpose and advancement within each respective racial group.

  6. Good old Vigilanteman..the guy who told us how many times he screwed his wife in their 30 year marriage (3500 + times if I recall)..here is his latest post a snippet. Creepy as hell.

By the same token, we love it when you initiate sex once in awhile. Ask to feel if we have an erection. Pull our shorts off. Even get on top of us. We may not be in the mood. But this type of thing revs us up and gets us in the mood in short order. We still appreciate it even if there are those occasional times when we can't get hard, put it all the way in or squirt in our usual large quantity of warm sexy cream. Just try again later.

    1. Almost all of Vigilanteman's posts about his life sound like tall tales.
I would take bets that he isn't even married.
I would take side bets that he has been caught more than once with his pants down, in the bushes, outside a middle school.

I also sent my condolences last night Ozy but I don't see it posted. Prayers for you and your family. We'll hold the fort down while you're away.

    1. Idiocy and idiocy squared. Hang all of them.

I once attended an SNA workshop in London which was totally wasted because one of the lecturers (and italian) refused to do anything but tell lawyers-on-the -bottom-of-the-ocean jokes. The legal system is the zero'th circle of Hell.

      oh, and Happy New Year!

  11. And the 'thon is off to a roaring start!

On the "monthly donor" front ...
this 'thon starts off with 631 monthly donors, compared to 659 monthly donors at the start of the last 'thon (down 28 donors),
compared to 671 donors the 'thon before that (down 40 donors).

Great job, harpies! Slowly killing FR from within!

And WrinklyMcWoW tries to drum up the racist donations with an obvious (and roundly debunked even on tea-party sites)
    photo-shopped image.

    1. DJ MacWoW later says, "I honestly was surprised to find that there really are people that are that stupid."

How stupid, DJ? Stupid enough to believe someone actually carried that sign at a protest? Or stupid enough to believe being racist will win you elections? Google the words on the sign and the first hit is snopes debunking it.

    2. Even easier, look at the letters in the last few words, then look at the words above and you can see where the photoshopper pulled the individual letters to spell out his racist message.

StupidMacWoW, of course being a proper freeper racist herself, wants it to be true, knowing full well that racism sells well on FR.

  12. I hope you'll forgive me for possibly stealing some of your thunder, but I couldn't wait until 1/5 for this. The Cult of Sarah Palin is very strong.

If you don’t approve of the photos of Trig standing on their dog, you:

Have a “deep and vitriolic hate for God, America and our Constitution.”
    http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3242939/posts?page=27#27

Have Palin Derangement Syndrome, are intellectually shallow, and lack common sense (never mind that letting a mentally challenged youngster stand on a dog really isn’t common sense)
    http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3242939/posts?page=66#66

Are filled with “feel good liberal indoctrination”

“40 pound kid stands on 35 pound dog. So lets kick his grandma out of office. Ooops, we can’t. She isn’t in office.”
    http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3242939/posts?page=104#104
(Oops — did kidd just accidentally call Sarah Palin Trig’s “grandma”?)

“Besides, how do you know that this isn't a cultural norm among Native Americans? Trig and his father, and his brother and sisters are all registered tribal members, except for Sarah.”
    http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3242939/posts?page=115#115
Just remember — Elizabeth Warren = Fauxcahontas. Todd Palin (1/16) = Tribal Chieftan of Alaska, along with his kids (1/32).

Also, that “living rent free in the head” comeback never gets old, does it!

      To: KC_Lion

I cringed when I saw this on FaceBook. I’m so sorry Sarah posted it. This one should have remained in the family album. Their sweet dog is very tolerant and obviously not hurt in anyway, but kids have to be taught to treat pets with love and care. Instead of a photo, I would have been smacking and lecturing my kid.

This is from ONYX, probably the premiere Palin apologist on FR.

Not just onyx, I'm actually surprised at the number of Palin criticisms interspersed throughout that thread.

    4. ay-nony -- in all fairness, that is true. There is a fair amount of criticism (some of it directed at each other, and hilarious).
What gets me is how they're blaming "libs" for being critical, when they're doing pretty well on their own!
I think libs are living rent-free in THEIR heads.

    5. What boggles my mind the most is that the thread has over 600 replies. They accuse liberals of going apeshit over Palin, but this non-issue unwise family photo is one of their hottest topics ever?

  13. I liked the excuse that the dog was a service dog and it was just doing it's duty to provide a step stool for Trig. The poster was sure that the dog was trained for that very act. They are so hypocritical. Remember how they went ballistic over Romney and his dog.

  15. A little more mixed-up freepathon math, courtesy of Gin-n-Tonyx ...

Here onyx claims 215 freepers signed up to be monthly donors during the four 'thons of 2014.

In reality, on January 1, 2014, according to the jimcompoop's own scoreboard, there were 692 monthly donors.

One year later, on January 1, 2015 (again according to the scoreboard), there were 631 monthly donors.

This works out to a LOSS of 61 monthly donors over the year.

Please freepers (and we all know you are lurking here), don't be fooled or pressured into donating to the jimcompoop's beer and breadsticks fund.
You are not saving the republic, you are not helping promote any conservative positions, you are not doing anything to help your political viewpoint gain traction.

    Open note to JimRob ...
Recognize you are leaving your fundraising dependent upon a handful of the stupidest old ladies in America.

    1. If what Onyx said is true, then 276 donating Freepers were either zotted, left on their own or simply withdrew their donations.
